Ottawa, CANADA, June 17, 2004 - Today prairieFyre Software Inc. released a new Call Accounting package. With comprehensive historical reporting, data mining, and flexible data collection options, Call Accounting provides accurate and detailed information on telecommunication use.
Call Accounting is available as a standalone application, or as a multi-site / multiple telephone system solution. With Call Accounting, supervisors can report on all types of calls: incoming, outgoing, local, and long distance. They can determine the costs associated with trunks across carriers, the cost of toll free lines, and if toll fraud is occurring. With the advanced data mining wizard, supervisors can search through SMDR data using a series of questions and find specific information in no time.
“Call Accounting is an invaluable tool for tracking, controlling, and recovering telecommunication costs. In addition, supervisors can establish call patterns for departments and work groups, and verify telecommunication activity and manage telephone productivity”, states Malcolm Teasdale, VP of Sales and Marketing.
With Call Accounting, supervisors can set up customized rate tables, or import rates from telecom database vendors, such as CCMI. Supervisors can incorporate information from multiple carrier plans, and assign carrier plans to trunk groups, DNIS or extensions. In addition, Call Accounting has powerful tools for investigating toll fraud. Supervisors can identify unauthorized telephone usage that meets defined toll fraud parameters such as, calls made to specific area codes and calls made during a specified time range. |
