Ottawa, CANADA, March 2005 - Mitel, a leader in contact center technology, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Customer Inter@ctions Solutions® magazine has announced Mitel as a recipient of the first IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer award. Mitel won the award for the contact center/switch configuration update software duo “Visual Architect” and “Call Center Simulator”. Visual Architect enables managers to view a Mitel telephone switch configuration, modify it, and synchronize the configuration of the Contact Center Management software database with that of the telephone switch. With Mitel’s XML technology (MiXML), Visual Architect can be implemented from a single desktop. Call Center Simulator ensures that service levels are achieved or maintained for all ACD queues in the enterprise. It enables managers to modify the current contact center switch configuration off-line until they have the service level percent they need. Then, using Visual Architect, they update the live telephone switch with the new, optimized configuration. The IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award names the “ ‘best of the best’ in IP contact center technology, or companies’ products that offer stand-out features, functions or capabilities…” says Nadji Tehrani, Executive Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Customer Inter@ction Solutions. Malcolm Teasdale, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, states, “prairieFyre Software Inc. and Mitel have teamed up to provide leading-edge contact center technology. Customer Inter@ction Solutions said it best, ‘[prairieFyre applications] allow companies to do things about which they could only dream a few short years ago.’” The March 2005 issue of Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine provides further information on the IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award and its recipients.
